Formerly a monastery and more recently a fermette, this 18th century building has been refurbished to an extremely high standard by local artisans.
With a strong emphasis on quality, our aim is to make your holiday special. A drink and a warm Yorkshire welcome await you on arrival. We are on site to provide first class maintenance of all facilities, offer local knowledge and share our bi-lingual ability; these small touches aim to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday.
Swim, whatever the season, in the indoor heated pool with contra-current, or laze on the adjoining south-facing sun terrace.
Enjoy the surrounding countryside, yet benefit from being within 5 minutes of a supermarket, restaurants, swimming lake, fishing and a 18 hole golf course.
Location and Travel
It benefits from being the second sunniest region having its own micro-climate but is easily accessible from the ferry ports in less than a day-giving you more holiday time.
Cheap flights to Poitiers and La Rochelle, which are both only an hour away, allow for a quick escape from the hectic life, use mid-week changeovers and short stays out of season.
Close links to major roads and motorways makes La Tardiviere easy to find but also allows access to a range of attractions.
